The opening day of the Liberty Flames' 2007 training camp came early for all players, both rookies and veterans, Friday morning with a split squad on the turf at Williams Stadium and inside the Williams Football Operations Center.

In case people don't read it, WSET was there today. There was a semi-lengthy interview with Coach Rocco and they interviewed some players as well.

By the way, I am fully supportive and very happy that the official athletic site is doing a countdown to kickoff. Just remember who did it first. That's all I'm saying.

I am too excited about football this year.
