A Sea Of Red

The basketball thread pictures showing Jerry look neat and gave me the idea that we might ought to have a big photo of Jerry on the back of the FOC. Like the Catholics at ND have Touchdown Jesus, maybe we can have Touchdown Jerry.

I know it is not feasible, but a funny thought anyway. I hope we do some good stuff to memoralize The Big Guy and make it part of our fledgling traditions.

what happened to the flame? I thought you were championing that idea.

Paint Jerry on the side of the tower. You can see if from the field. It can be our Touchdown Jerry.

The flame idea has been passed to the correct people, don't know what will happen. I was told that something approprite is going to be done, which may or may not include the flame. All I can do is trust the judgement of those in charge.

Whatever is done, I just hope it is off the charts. The Big Guy deserves it.

lynchburgians would love that, cuz you can see that from riverridge and parts of ward if i recall.

I think I had this idea earlier, but I am all for it. That is unless everyone else is for it than I will be against it so that I can stay consistent in how I am percieved by other on the board. The flame thing sounded good too, but too many people are already for it so it is an absolutely hideous idea that only pales in its lunacy to that of goind D1A in the next 3 years

I'm a big fan of putting the "eternal flame" on top of the FOC. Or maybe even something that shoots off flames everytime we score.

I told you, they're going to paint Jerry's portrait in the endzones.
