Here is some updated information on 2007 season tickets. At the bottom there is a nice pic of our tailgate and particularly Smoothie and Scar.

No student flames club section this year.......GOOD!!!

man, that bombed. Too bad. It certainly had some steam out of the gate. Now there will be a hesitancy to start one in the future.

They're still doing the club (advertising bus trips and other things) but no special seating.

Got my season tickets yesterday! I am 1 row above Smoothie in the reserved seats and he is one row above Tim Houghton. We all sat together this past season on Tim's tickets. If anyone wants to sit with us, let me know. I usually have 1 extra since MRS SCAR has not gone to many games lately. She says she will be with me though this season. I wonder if that means tailgating too? That would be a sight. Anyway, football season can't get here soon enough! Also I re-joined Flames Club too and I encourage all of you that can afford to, to do the same.

This is my last season not having to buy season tickets.

My wife and I will probably be picking ours up this week. Just trying to decide how many seats we'll need.

Just wanted to let you know that the reserved secion (the silver seats below the blue seats)...are going to be chairbacks as well this year. They will be red chairbacks. So the best deal is the family reserved deal for $150 for 4 tickets, b/c they'll be chairbacks.

so the stadium can't fit as many people right?

They'll put as many people as needed in the stadium. This just makes it more comfortable for people who wanna pay more.

I don't know. All that I know is that the entire reserved section will be chairbacks. So that's the three sections in the middle. I love the idea. It makes it easy to tell the difference between the seats. Silver is general admission...Red is reserved...Blue is premium. It's also forward thinking. When we add the upper decks, we'll need a larger "reserved" section...so this fixes all of those problems. I love it.

As far as not seating as many...I think we'll actually have more people sitting there. People didn't realize last year that you had to pay extra for the reserved seats below the blue seats...and so you always saw those empty rows of silver right in the middle of the home side. More people will actually pay for the seats once they realize they can get them for a couple of dollars more

You are right Jim. I think they are going to be great seats. We all have the 2 aisle seats, Smoothie, Houghton and me. I have seen the chair backs and they look pretty cool. I don't know how they feel though but I am glad they are improving the experience. Each year it will get better.

I didin't see the band section noted, but Im assuming the band will be in the same spot as last year (or are they shifting the band to the end section so as to unify the students more)

putting in chairbacks will not take away the number of seats.

I'm going to order my tickets today. I'm looking to get into the new red chairs. Sounds like a good deal.

do you guys have to sit in your assigned seats? I didn't think we were at that point season ticket sale-wise.

I know last year they were real strick on checking your tickets to make sure you were in the right seat.

if you are in reserved seating...yes. jc just call heather at the ticket office and say you want to be near scar or myself.

There are so many folks asking Heather for that seat that I almost couldn't get tickets near myself Cider, you and Arlie and the crew should try to get near us too.
