Wanna know what your players are doing in 95 degree heat?

I'm ridin' down route 28 through Manassas about 3PM and heading to an automotive place near Manassas Park High School. I'm drivin and see 3 guys on the football field running sprints from goal post to goal post (110 yards) so I park and watch incognito. They ran these things as if they were competing against one another in a race and I do mean they are sprinting as fast as possible. These cats run 1 and take a 30-35 second break (I'm counting) and then they take off again. They get to number 7 (keep in mind that I pulled up as they were running so I missed them running some) and I see the smaller of the two encouraging the bigger guy with "way to keep up", "I can't wait for the season" and alot of other chatter...all positive. I then hit my horn and stick out the fist as in "good job"!
This is how Zach Terrell and Terry Adams have been spending each day from 1-4 this summer. They lift for 2 hours and finish it off with 110 yard wind sprints in 95 degree heat!
SOMETHING TELLS ME THAT LIBERTY FOOTBALL FANS WILL BE IN FOR A TREAT THIS YEAR SO GO GET THEM TICKETS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're doing that which is great. For those that don't know, we've got about 50-60 players in town this summer working out as well.
It's a great day to be a Flame.

I cannot wait until kickoff either! We all are hoping for something special these season, and I think the coaches have them striving for that.
How about adding the countdown to kickoff at the top of the board like last year now?

I have the feeling your screen is just small.

It's not the size of the screen that counts; it's the number of buttons you can push.

Last year I got excited when the band learned the fight song. Because I had a feeling we'd be playing it a lot last year (there were a couple spots where that didn't happen but I think we'll be playing it a bunch more this year)

That should be part of Freshman Orientation.
They should have to sing the fight song to get into the cafeteria.

To contain the following:
1. Fight Song
2. Appropriate Football/Sports Spectator Etiquette= standing and ferocious cheering is not only permitted it is to be expected; Pansy Baptist Side-esque complaining about noise level and those rambunctious students is not.
3. What a Flame is and is Not.
4. Tailgaiting Instructions
5. Appropriate Football event attire= a) ponchos allowed; umbrellas are not (this is actually a manlaw at Fenway Park, and a good one I think.
b) anything red (shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, blankets, etc.)
6. Et al

For the record, I'm a Baptist-sidesque and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it when you guys get wild and crazy....I especially love the chants!! "Put the flag down!!!!" (at the CSU game when they kept their crossbones or skull flag up) was a favorite I just can't remember the other ones. You had my section in stitches!!! Love ya guys! Keep it up!!

Didn't the upperclassmen football student-athletes do that to all the "rookies" last year during Training Camp? I heard it was hilarious!!

Heck, singing the fight song should be a pass requirement for Freshman Seminar (I mean the band kids are already gonna know at least how to play it)
