A word of advice to thepostman, lock in some key dates for events prior to the wedding. If you want to go the W&M, establish that fact now while she's still caught up in the joy of wedding planning. If you wait til October it will be much tougher to break free. I wish someone had suggested this to me back int he day.

Better advice:
Tell her that from now to eternity that every Saturday from the first one in September through the Saturday before Thanksgiving is a Liberty Football day. Then tell her that, once the time gets closer, you can give her 4-6 of those Saturdays back (road games and bye weeks) on the condition that, if the word "playoffs" is involved, all bets are off and you'll be required to go to the game no matter where it's at.
...and I wonder why I'm single...

I gave that demand long ago. Luckily, it's worked.

Either that or just let her shop while you go to the game, it may be more expensive, but it is loads more fun.

well, my fiance is not much of a shopper...which is something the drew me to her i think...haha
but we have talked about the whole sports thing....and she knows I plan on going to every home football game in the fall...we have talked about it...and she and I have kind of talked about the give and take we'll do when it has to do with my sports watching...
she likes basketball and hockey though so thats cool....she absolutely hates football though....
I am not too worried about it....but thanks for all the amazing advice guys, haha

haha....well, she has many many good qualities.....plus I didn't grow up in a football crazy house...we were all about basketball...I like football....but not nearly as much I love basketball....and when I say that I mean all levels from high school to the nba....I just love it
so though I am a football fan and like watching it.,..its not the end of the world if I have to miss a saturday or sunday in front of the tv on occasion....

I'm sure the majority of our board would be up for that. We've never had a board tailgate before, but the posters have met eachother for the most part.

It's a good time.
