I don't know about the interview, but i do know that there are at least 5 people who have said they would commit to a suite if they were available.

Postman I did an interview with him a week ago and I have the interview at the Station if you want to hear it and he talks about adding suites, there would be 4 of them. He and Micky are going down the Florida here in a few weeks to look at them. Purdue, Florida St. and a few other D-1 schools have used them, they would go next to our press box on both sides. Which hopefully one day the whole thing will be connected.

He talked about the suites, he also mentioned he'd like to put evergreens at the top of the stadium from the scoreboard to the seats, I assume both ways, and he also said they're geting the blue walls at the bottom of the stadium bricked up. I was very excited to hear about the brick. Now if they could just do the same on the rest of the buildings there we'd be all set.

I kind of wish the part in front of the student section would be a painted wood or hard plastic. That stuff would be loud as crap when we were banging on it.
I was talking with my roommate yesterday and he was the one that had that idea, but then I added to it by saying you could paint it red and have it say, "The Red Sea" and have everybody in the student section wearing red shirts. If we sold shirts cheap ($10) I'm sure a ton of people would buy it.

I don't understand what these "blue walls" are. Please explain.

Thanks, Super, that helps out a lot: I just couldn't get a visual in my mind without your pic. That will reallly add a touch of class with red brick there.

that is great about bricking the walls. now if they would just paint the old fieldhouse a brick color like the ops center it would look much better. the suites are a great idea and a good revenue boost. flamefans suite anyone??

YOU READ MY MIND
of course, we (I) didn't do too well with the joint contribution to the flames club so a suite may be a little much- but it was our first attempt.

and would they be expanding the press box* to accomodate that?
*A project I think is long overdue to begin with

Bricking the visitor's field house is a nice idea, if it's not too costly.
Anybody remember the old storage shed we used to have for the visiting team? It had no bathrooms, so one time a visiting player relieved himself outside of the endzone in those evergreen bushes we used to have--during the game!

It actually did have a bathroom -- just not one that more than 2 people could use at any one time.

God, I hated those bushes! It looked like we had the world's most pathetic Christmas Tree farm at one end of the field.

Yes I remember the ol' shed. That was Sam R's bright idea from what I as told. That thing was a real piece of crap.
I was thinking the biggest improvements we need to make for the football program were a new pressbox with suites and 2 new practice fields with one being field turf with lights. It looks like we are headed in the right direction. Oh and did I mention scheduling. We seem to be having problems with that as of late.
