still, a good story- glad to see another LU grad on a roster. I believe the world-beaters of CCU are still looking for their first

Thanks for the cred, Medic. It's nice to know that someone in the quasi-medical field has my back. Or, at least, my lower back.

I order you to hand over your blue Nike cap to me, at once.

It's always good to have some LU'ers in the professional sports ranks.

Just got off the phone with Lauren Williams. 2005 graduate. He just signed with the Oakland Raiders. Will be allocated to NFL Europe this spring. WOOhoo!! Now I have three teams (Sam with the Texans and Erick with the Eagles) to cheer for......should be a very fun and interesting season in the Fall.

Now if Randy Moss and Jerry Porter can get traded, he might have something to play for in Europe.

At last check, Porter was on Big Al's brown list so L-Boogey (I didn't make up that nickname so don't blame me) has a slightly better shot at impressing the Head Raider right there. If he shows up for workouts in a matching sweatsuit and 3-foot shades, he might be in. In fact, if he can manage to mumble "Just win, baby" through a mouthful of botox, they'll probably rip the #18 right off Randy's back and hand it to him.
However it goes, congratulations to Lauren for earning a shot!

Lauren's at least guaranteed a paycheck for NFL Europe and there are worse ways of spending an offseason. Cool opportunity for him.
