Two of Liberty's verbal commits made today's annual Roanoke Timesland First Team.
Tommy Shaver, 6'6" TE from Bath Co HS and Patrick Bannon, 6'4" LB from Rockbridge.
Full page pullout in today's paper, not available online yet, but is usually within a few days.
Shaver finished his senior year with 34 rec/431 yards and 8 TDs, also had 86 tackles with 55 solos at mlb.
Bannon had 152 tackles and broke the Rockbridge school record and helped lead them to the state championship game at Liberty on December 9th.
On their bios, both got a mention that they were committed to Liberty. Not one other college was mentioned other than Liberty, ha ha!!
