i was hearing that alot with the guys that redshirted. they didn't like it here. i heard that about cedric sanderson and tim smith also. that's the tough thing about redshirting kids here. they arent playing so the only thing left to do is enjoy the college life, and at liberty well.... there isn't to much of that

anybody with any cred able to back this up?

Robbie is Terry's uncle. He has credibility. I'm just surprised I didn't hear about this first. Thanks for keeping me in the loop Coach. I'm just giving you crap.

Is Zach happier now than at the beginning of the season?

Personally, I love the idea of redshirting a kid. It gives them a chance to get used to college and they can take 12 hours every semester and graduate in five years without worrying about summer school and all o fthe other stuff.

i agree 100%. they also get to developed their bodies more too. but im sure that alot of the kids last year wouldn't have left if there was more of a college life, and they have these friends at other schools telling them about how much fun that they have.

Best of luck to him. If he doesn't enjoy life at LU then he doesn't need to be here.

so is it 100% ? because you said that he is going to try and enroll. is there a chance that he will stay? he is really good.

If he goes to ECU and tries to play ball, he's going to have to sit out another year and then will only have 3 years to play. If he goes to ECU just for school, then best of luck. He's too good not to play football though.

so he has some thinking to do. i hope he stays. he's a good guy and a good ball player. we will be good next year and he can be a big part of the success.

 ...I don't EVEN know where this rumor came from.

Terry is at Liberty, just finished exams last week and will be on the field this upcoming year. Remember now, I grew up/still am close with "Big Zach" Terrell Sr. so you know I'm wantin' to see "Lil Zach" continue to do his thing.
Ok, Robbie, you've confused the daylights outta me. Now I have to find your e-mail address again.

I have to point out the typical hawkish authoritarian response.
Best of luck to him. If he doesn't enjoy life at LU then he doesn't need to be here.
IMO, will never win a national championship with that being the LU party line. School & fans just need to decide already if they want the school to build a great sports tradition or just be a really big Bible school with a status quo athletic program as an outlet.

I would hate to loose such a great LB prospect. I am kind of thinking there is more to it than the lack of "college life" at LU. Maybe it had something to do with poor scheduling and playing in a bad conference with no auto berth. There is just nothing to shoot for. No future in it.

Oh snap, I just talked to Robbie, this could get ugly.

I actually didn't mean for that to be authoritarian at all. I actually meant it to say that if Terry isn't happy at LU then he owes it to himself to go somewhere where he can enjoy college.

Thanks for assigning meaning and substance to my comments, though. I'm obviously not good at it.

From the real Coach Robbie:
it's a fan from Murphy, NC who goes by the names of topdawg, captred and will make up othr names just because I told him that Murphy won't win a Title for at least 10 years. He's going around making up things I posted.

Only reason why I won't respond to it over on the Flames site is because he gets vulgar and I dont do this especially over there.

Thanks and I'll catch you next year. Terry is excited about Liberty and so excited until he bought my son up there last week and he stayed the nite. WE LOVE LIBERTY AND WILL BUY SEASON TICKETS THIS YEAR.

we need a mod to step in and edit the bogus posts then (as well as banning the IP addy of whomever posted it), so the rest of us understand that the original premise of the thread was merely instigatory BS.

need to leave the actual post though, for context.

good to hear Terry is staying. And welcome to therealcoachrobbie (if thats truly you)

The real Robbie is a good guy. He'll help you ABCers a ton. He can turn anything positive for UNC into a negative. He's a huge backer of anything in the state of Virginia.
