Hope I’m wrong but it’s kinda difficult for me to see us even keeping this one close much less winning.

I must be a dope because each week I keep telling myself that this is the week that this team stops self destructing…maybe thats just what fans of bad teams do to stay engaged?

I completely get it. I keep thinking to myself we can still win 10 games and the conference but the reality is we are at 15 games in a row of self destructing and looking bad.

Well, at least LU didn't have to pay JMU to come play in the Bill and possibly win there . Beware if the JMU equipment squad enters the facility with an extra bag; might contained some spray paint :pressed

This would be super embarrassing if Chadwell was making 10 times what their coach makes.

He makes about five times as much, so that's not any better. I mean the writing is on the wall, but I'm sure it'll be ignored as just coincidences.

I legitimately thought it was about 10. I wasn’t trying to exaggerate.
$550,000 compared to 5 million.
There are clearly significant issues with this program. I’m not sure what they other than the obvious porous defense and penalties but I think it’s more to it than that.

We played better today but we just don’t have the talent and overall depth to hang with most teams this year.

Most teams? We have one of the weakest schedules in FBS!

This is the key right here. We have one of if not the worst schedule in the country and a bowl game seems unlikely.

Good effort. I think it would have been a nail biter to the end had Vasko not been injured.

I like Jamie, but Dabo might be available soon

Freeze is pretty safe right now. Losing to the Sooners on the road by 7 is not going to put him on the hot seat. He's got the QB he wants now, and while obviously the SEC conference schedule is a huge challenge, I think they will do well.

You're talking about Auburn though. Gus Malzahn gave them an average 8-10 season every season at least, and he was still placed on the hot seat and fired. The boosters and fans there don't play ; the don't like being looked at as the " little brother" to Bama

I take back. This team isn't good.

Its all about the front lines. Both are sub par. QB play is tough when you know that there is no time to throw.
It tough to stop the run when your DL is getting blown up at the snap.

This coaching staff will need to make quick adjustments on how we can get the ball out quick and still stretch the field on occasion. We can't win with trying to establish a run game.

Your analysis is good.
And it’s four games in. “Quick” adjustments have already been tried.

This team lacks talent. The dropoff since Freeze is staggering.
