This should be a "get right" game. Should...be
Chadwell seems to indicate that the issues that have been apparent in the first 2 weeks are fixable and I like to believe that. I am Most interested in seeing the D come out with more energy this week. The Flames will face a much bigger threat through the air in Pyne. He was a blue chipper coming into college and has never elevated his game but looked good against Cincy. However, we have to win this game with our run game. BG looks pretty stout against the run so far but we need to control the clock and subsequently the game to win. I did see that BG gave up some big chunk plays in the air against Cincy and i think we have some chances to do the same once the run game has been established.
If the Flames start with 0 energy again this week, and get behind by 2 scores in the first 15 minutes, i don't think we win it with another "Flames Quarter" fourth.
Lets go!

I was told we were going to be good without Salter.

Um, no. This is bad.

And I hope we don’t ever become “used to this.”

I haven’t seen anything about this team that’s been “mediocre” for the last 16 games.

Get use to it. The shiny toys will only get you so far.

I do think you're being too hard on the team. A lot of new pieces. It was always going to be a work in progress.

I suppose this excuse can be used for any mediocre play out moving forward. Not like transfers to had came in and had to learn a new playbook ever before this season. We have one of the lowest strength of schedule in all of college football, remember that. A coach getting paid one of the highest paychecks in the G6 should know the expectations....

We need to play more physical. Lost that with JSU and BG.

3 lost TDs on holding penalties? You know I've heard you can call a holding penalty on every single play.

Two very good teams coming up. Va Tech fans booed the Hokies off the field at halftime and then most went home. ODU is good. I hope we catch JMU over looking us a little, get momentum before heading to Norfolk.

I believe JMU is coming off of a bye, so I think they will be more than ready and prepared for us. Could be ugly.
