That last interception/turnover/whatever looked like something we'd do in the back yard at Thanksgiving.

Defensive line is keeping us in this game.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen any player in any sport at a high level with worse body language than Salter.

I like how it feels like we are opening up the play book more on offense. The first several game plans felt much more generic than last year.

I have absolutely no idea how that was ruled a fumble but I’ll take it.

Having Gray on the field reminded me a bit of Bedgood last year. We need a player like that.

It's nice to watch the other team beat themselves instead of the other way around for once. We even got to see the backups get some reps at the end of the game! Hopefully we see more of the same next week.

We had 2 going into the season; JuJu and Darius Coleman. Both got injured in game 1. Darius is out for the season and Gray is just now healthy again. He is a bigger, faster version of Bedgood, and if he can stay on the field, he should be a huge factor the rest of the year.

I think it will take another game or two for Gray to fully get plugged in. The advantage Bedgood had was that he had been in Chadwell's system from at Coastal so it was an easy transition for him. We've seen some of the triple option this year in other games and it didn't seem as effective. I'm not sure if the reason it worked against MTSU was because of better execution on our part, or because MTSU didn't play well. Time will tell.

Was this our "get right" game? If so, better late than never. There still seems to be some issues with chemistry/communication in the passing game between KS and the WRs. We also need to see KS make some better decisions. That one decision to throw a late pitch over a defender was shocking.
