Sam Houston's lone score this far came when former Flames Jaylon Jimmerson blocked a punt then recovered it taking it down to the 2-yard line. Without Hunter Watson, Sam Houston's offense has been awful. Keyone Jenkins tried to play with an injured shoulder and stunk it up (1-of-9) before heading to the bench.

I still watched just about the whole SHU/FIU game. In the third quarter I started rooting for 0-0 but the blocked punt ruined it.

Agreed. The dropoff from Hunter Watson appears to be precipitous, especially in Sam Houston's ability to throw downfield. The offense that came out for the second half of the WKU team was not the same.

For their sake (and CUSA's), I hope Watson can get healthy. Not sure the extent of his injury.

Watson's health is on the lips of everyone who follows Sam down here. Bauer is a train wreck. They will lose to anyone not named Kennesaw from here out if they don't get him back.

And I am not sure whether claiming that last night was four amazing defenses on display or just four horrendous offensive units. I am leaning strong toward the latter. Ugh. Hopefully tonight's two contests show better for CUSA.
