I think you all are highly overestimating NM State's offense. They could barely move the ball against a middling FCS school this past week. They do have a RB who transferred over from Oklahoma that has some skills. But he'll need to do it all himself because there is practically no passing game.

I hope I’m very very wrong and we pitch a shutout with 75 yards of total offense.

You're probably right but our defense struggled against Campbell and until they prove otherwise, I'll have a hard time putting much faith in them.

I'll expect the worst of our defense until chadwell proves he can put a decent defense on the field. He's not done that yet as a FBS coach. I'll give the defense some credit though. If you take away that one 64 yard run early in the game, Campbell only ran for 52 yards on 31 attempts. We really didn't do a bad job of shutting down the run game. Need to clean up the pass defense though.
