Does that number include the players, coaches & staff, marching band, and concession workers? The Sun Bowl looked EMPTY on TV.

Ha! Must have brought in the '20 Arizona vote counters.
There were not 10,000 total folks on the UTEP campus today. Ghost town

Felt bad for their seniors to have to finish like that. Our backups did their best to soften the blow in the 4th.
Flames fans were visible with all the Texas families in tow.

12-0!

Perfect 12-0 regular season. We have a super hot team in town next week but nothing can take away the perfect regular season these flames pulled off.

You can’t be better than unbeaten. Love it. Congrats Flames!

Couple of takeaways for me:
1. Our O Line is incredible! Don’t get near the love they deserve. The first 4+ drives was sheer domination. Up front against a good, seasoned front 7.
2. Salter didn’t look focused. Missed a bunch of reads and just went into hero mode. Didn’t matter because of #1. It will matter at some point.
3. Good to see Blue back on the field. The RB’s looked hungry all game. Was happy for Jointers TD! His dad was next to us and was cool to see his reaction.
4. Team gets downplayed for the schedule but this team is legit. Depth is not there yet but the building blocks get bigger every year
5. Chadwell > Freeze. Not a knock on Hugh but our HC is just better at schematics. The culture is incredible too! Sidebar: watch his postgame handshake with Dimel…icy. He was not pleased with that clown on the other side
6. 12-0 and we are spoiled rotten as fans.
7. They better win Friday or…

With 4:30 left to play, Liberty was up 42-14 which is pretty much the final score for anyone watching. The last 4 minutes was difficult to watch and Flames should have walked out of there with a 28 point margin victory. Period.

BTW - this is why I don't bet on sports. There are too many dumb things like this (garbage time scores) that can screw up the final margin and/or total points scored.

Hyperbole
If you listen to the UTEP fans, that’s what they would call him. LU took the foot off the gas and was trying to run out the clock with our 2nd and 3rd stringers.
Dimel was still coaching as though a 28 point game with 3 minutes to go was an 8 point game. Left most starters in, 2 onside kicks and used every time out. Chadwell had the mercy flag up and Dimel was operating with desperation of saving his job as though the final 3 minutes would make a difference.
Just not what you do as a coach. Chadwells handshake tells you what he thought of the other guy.

There were multiple shots on TV of Chadwell looking over at the other sideline with his arms up like he was asking "WHY?!" He looked really frustrated, and I'm sure he was tempted to hang another 7 on them on the way out, but didn't.

Dimel was trying to save his job and got fired anyway.

When your third string QB drops the ball on the 2 yard line, I can’t fault them for running it in. What were they supposed to do, take a knee?!

We had the ball on the 1 yard line against bowling green late in that game and took a knee. It's certainly an option. If dimel would've allowed the clock to run out instead of using his timeouts and running a hurry up offense the game could've been over by that point.

Wasn't that actually our fourth string QB?
