I haven't followed the season as closely as in years past but starting Brewer certainly seems like a head scratcher.

I would say this team has quit but they never even started. Plus their coach quit before the game so you can’t really blame them

LU can't afford to fire Hugh

Why couldn’t he just let Austin or Harris coach this game. He obviously stopped caring since the Arkansas game. His mind is already on Auburn. Out of all the years I’ve been following Liberty football, I’ve never seen a team play with literally no effort. Just about everyone is playing half speed.

I’m pretty sure Auburn knows his players checked out and they don’t care about this game.

This is about the worst case scenario for both Hugh and LU. We look like sore losers and Hugh looks like a heartless fraud who only cares about himself. Neither is who I believe them to be. Just an unfortunate confluence of bad timing and gaslighting. Lane was right to troll that video. Seen with the benefit of hindsight it looks like HF was telling the players "Thanks for all your sacrifice and hard work! I just got paid thanks to you. See ya!"

My opinion of the HF era has really changed today

Mine hasn't. He's definitely leaving on a sour note but we wouldn't be a 8+ win a year program this soon without him... if everyone leaves and we end up sucking next year I reserve the right to change my mind.

I want to point out 4 players that I've noticed kept playing hard: 1. Javon Scruggs; 2. Mike Smith Jr.; 3. Demario Douglas; 4. Jerome Jackson

I appreciate their effort in the midst of this mess.

We were going to lose this game one way or another with our lack of effort. I don't understand why the officials feel the need to call the game as one sided as they have been.
