Why was there no Hugh Freeze interview after the game or Jonathan Bennett or Dae Dae interview, you'd think ESPN would do a post game interview from the field

What a great team effort! Way to go Bennett! I doubted him but he was great to day!

Hunter is the man!

Said this in other thread but it got locked. I’m a huge critic of JB the QB (not the man). But he’s been great today. Nicely done JB!

The LU brand was upgraded immensely today.

We did actually. Definitely was a great look for sure! I sat with BYU fans. They love the scenery; the only bad thing was that we don't have a Bari[tone] saxophone in the marching band

Attendance was announced as 24,012. I believe the replay official also counted attendance.

Outside of the upcoming VT game, we won’t see a crowd like that for awhile.

If we continue winning we won't need attractive opponents to start filling up the stadium.

Students stormed the field. Good luck finding them.

Our defense is nasty. BYU didn’t score or even really get close after the first quarter.

They scored more points against:
Notre Dame
Oregon
Baylor
Arkansas

JB did his job tonight. He made all the right reads and just managed the game. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not sure if it’s been play-calling or JB’s decision-making, but it’s seemed like so much of what we’ve done with him so far has been low-percentage down-field throws. Today was short, high percentage plays and he really excelled with it. A couple of great timing throws that showed real chemistry with the receivers, certainly a benefit of his experience.

We ran the daggum ball. I didn’t realize how much we feasted on the ground until I looked at the box score at home. Dae Dae has really grown into his role here. He’s a great runner, finds creases well and beats defenders one on one.

Berm report- great for antsy kids, lots of room to run around and play without getting in anyone’s way. Not great viewing if you want to watch the game. Too flat. If anyone’s in front of you, you can’t see. Also partially obstructed by fencing set up on the edges.

Dude, put the Flavor-Ade down. Season Ticket holders and casual fans want a quality fan or two a year. Watching NMSU UMASS Akron year in and year out won’t boost enthusiasm

I had a moment towards the end where I spotted the “CUSA” sign and felt sad about our near future in comparison to this game.

I’m fine with CUSA. I’m not fine with all these Big Time game cancellations

Tonight was the loudest I’ve ever heard that stadium and it wasn’t even close. The Baptists finally figured out how to help the Defense. Got a couple of false starts out of it. Now if we can only teach the students to be quiet when we have the ball. Regardless… great atmosphere. Great win. KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OUR COACH AUBURN.

What a game! The last several years Liberty football has shown they are capable of stepping up in big games. Tonight may have been the biggest. Congrats!

Time for another HCHF raise.

I said that same thing to my wife tonight. We need to keep this guy. I like his attitude and the culture. The players seem to be responding favorably too. Dae Rae’s post game interview tonight was awesome. Guy is a character, but he talked very openly about how LU has made a difference in his life. It’s bigger than football.

If HCHF sticks around we will likely be in the NY6/CFP (when it expands) conversation with our weak schedules. If fans can't get excited for that then we don't deserve to be in a better conference.

If LU wins CUSA and goes undefeated. Your banking on a lot of IFs to be there.
LU has seen a massive increase in fan support. I can’t see it going down from last years numbers. This year is most likely an outlier in those terms But to move into that NY6/CFP Discussion a lot is gonna have to break right

I don't think anyone could have predicted a 41-14 score, especially after losing our DC at the end of last year.

The attendance was helped by Parents Weekend and hundreds of BYU fans. And the weather was absolutely perfect.

The only downsides were Purple's cold nachos and how long it took 24,000 fans to leave LU's campus.

Being in a conference helps immensely because it gives you a chance to win a conference championship and IF the playoffs expanded, a conference championship should be an automatic invite. So a weak conference gives you better chances than a strong independent because liberty would never get in even with an undefeated record without being a conference champion
