Our 2024 nonconference schedule is starting to look pretty solid now that Texas St has been removed. I imagine either the fcs game or the umass game will be the last team removed since they are on back to back weeks late in the season when our cusa games should be. If so that leaves us with coastal carolina, App St and marshall as three of our four nonconference games. Hard to complain too much about that at this point.

Also the 2025-2027 duke series was canceled leaving one P5 a season during those years as expected. It's finally starting to become more clear where we are heading with these upcoming schedules.

With the 2025 UCONN game being moved to 2027 umass seems to be the most logical school left on the chopping block for the 2024-2027 schedules. If they are removed our nonconference schedules through 2028 will be complete except for a fcs addition in 2027.

Army is in the process of cancelling as many as 75 to 80 future games. If all those teams demanded full compensation for the cancellation, it could cost Army as much as $35 million. But he explained that about 40 games have already been cancelled without those schools asking for compensation
It's very likely our games with army in 2025/2026 are already canceled or at least will be. They will only be playing two nonconference games a year outside of the navy/air force games. Seems like a golden opportunity to improve those schedules.

Army plays @k state, @syracuse, @Marshall and @wake forest in 2025. In 2026 they play marshall and wake forest at home and @CCU. If we could work something out with marshall and wake forest those years that would be the best case scenario imo. They also have Cincinnati on their 2031 schedule and BYU on their 2032 schedule. I wouldn't be opposed to adding those teams either if those games get canceled.
