The weird part of it is somehow they beat Troy, who we didn't exactly dominate, but most of their other performances have been pretty abysmal.

Another game that we should win easily if we prepare well.

I am trying to pull off making it over to Monroe on Saturday. I fly back from Los Angeles on Friday and it will be a quick turnaround to drive up to NE Louisiana. There are a lot of Piney Woods in ETX before I get up to the freeway in Marshall (God bless George Foreman) to drive over. I'd say I am about 75% certain of making the run. It would be 100% if Mrs. Sly didn't have a say in the narrative.

Crazy situation with two coaching legends on staff in Bowden & RichRod @ OC.

RichRod's son Rhett was starting QB in the Troy game before suffering a lung injury that left in the ICU for a period of time. He's now home resting and recovering.

Troy went down there very confident...we are sluggish in practice, we just lost a safety, our top 2 slots have gimpy ankles...32 point road favorites, hype hype hype. Hate these type games.

HF usually updates injury status in his TH presser. ASOR posted some stuff, but injuries were not included except for the Quinten Reese situation.

Who else is making the trip tomorrow?

It looks like I am a go in spite of every circumstance working against me. But I will probably be arriving close to game time. I had to get GA seats so I will look for folks there.

Sun belt teams always say it’s hard to play in Monroe so there ya go.

Why are we running our offense at a snail's pace?

OL is definitely scuffling. However, man the playcalling is vanilla. Can we please throw something down the field??
