The Liberty Football Show with Head Coach Hugh Freeze, a weekly audio show spotlighting Liberty’s football program, returns to a live and in-person audience Monday, August 23 from 6-7 p.m. The show will be hosted each Monday night at Lynchburg’s Iron & Ale restaurant and will feature interviews with Flames Head Coach Hugh Freeze, assistant coaches and student-athletes. Seating will be limited, so be sure to arrive early to reserve a spot.

For the second year in a row, the Liberty Football Show will air live via audio stream at https://www.liberty.edu/flames/lfsn/radio-live/ and the Liberty Flames mobile app. The weekly show will also air on-demand on the Liberty Flames Podcast Channel on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Play.

The Liberty Flames Football Show each week will be hosted by Alan York, the radio play-by-play broadcaster for football and men’s basketball, and Nick Pierce, the Flames sideline reporter and baseball play-by-play broadcaster.

For the record, I love the podcast distribution. I never seem to be able to listen live for one reason or another. But the shows are always fun and have me jealous of not being in Lynchburg for at least an hour every week during the fall.

If fans want to subscribe, do we search for "Liberty Football Show"? Is it available to subscribe now, or do we have to wait until the first episode has appeared? (I looked just now and couldn't find it on Apple Podcasts).

Searched "Liberty Flames Podcast" on Spotify and it's there.

Will this show be on a regular radio station ?

Not this season. Games will be on the radio on our Journey network statewide. Monday shows will be live on our digital platforms including our mobile app.

It's "Liberty Flames Podcast" on Apple Podcasts too. They've been posting all of the football press conferences on there. The "Flames Central Podcast" is good too.

Bump -- Starts this evening

I loved listening to it!
I am really beginning to believe our defense will be outstanding this year.
We get Freeze and think all offense and now it looks as if the defense is going to be a stellar unit.
Lock up those defensive coaches!

Listened with my boys to the first half while waiting to drop them off at school. Second half tomorrow morning!

I was watching the softball team on Facebook and completely forgot about coaches show.
