This is the same uniform combination used when Liberty LOST to Rutgers last year.
Why would we not use the same uniform combination from the Virginia Tech WIN?
I'm a little superstitious about that kind of stuff. Why change it up?

That being said, I am very glad they did not use the terrible uniform combination from the Syracuse game, which was:
RED helmets (with the lame, one-dimensional white LU logo)
White shirts with red numbers/letters
White pants with double-red and single blue stripes.

I am happy they are going with the blue pants, but NOT happy they are going with the WHITE helmets as this comes with the lame, one-dimensional red LU logo. It is a much better look with the BLUE helmets and the much more handsome 2-dimensional LU logo (classic red LU with white shadowing). We should always wear BLUE helmets with our classic logo.

DONT MESS UP OUR LOGO. IT IS CLASSIC AND BEAUTIFUL. CONSISTENCY IS KEY TO BRAND RECOGNITION!!!

As long as you win, who cares how it looks.

I'm not a big fan of the all-white uniform look. I generally don't seem to like the white pants. Everything else is good.

I don't mind white on the road, but I hate when the home team wears any white. I wish we'd go RBR or BRB more often at home.

My favorites are all white everything on the road and blue helmet, red jersey, white pants at home.

The blue helmet is definitely my favorite. I’m fine with blue-white-blue on the road (this weeks look), blue-white-white or all-white.

Not a fan of the current red helmet. Definitely not a fan of all-red color rush.

The changed to white, white, blue. I don't like the white or red helmets. Not at all.
Blue helmet with classic logo should be the standard, but that is not happening this week.

BTW, NIU made a change to their Athletics Logo a couple years ago. The logo you see in my avatar with the Huskie over NIU is the old one (the better one) which is still used in some cases. The new one is just the Huskie head and no NIU under it. Then on their football helmets, they went with all-caps NIU and no Huskie head. You can see all three looks on their official athletics site here...

So NIU has three different logos - no consistency of brand. Totally drives me crazy as an alumnus!

Yeah, I can’t keep up. I do like the white helmet better than red.

As long as it's a LU uniform, I don't care what color it is.

I recall back in the day, VT got so hung up on what uniform they were wearing, they lost focus and got beat.

in my opinion, we should be using the Athletic's logo on our helmets. I'd also go back to the Eagle head red helmet and have the reds match the whites and blues in design. I'll add that I'm also becoming very fond of the blues. I, also don't mind them mixing up the colors. I actually kinda like it.

Do not ever, under any circumstances, use red or white helmets.

I wish we could use a logo like that or really anything besides the plain LU, but the eagle would be facing backwards on the left side of the helmet. The "screaming eagle" we had on the matte red helmets worked because of how it was wrapped around. I loved that helmet (have one mounted on the wall in my sport cave) and wish we still used them.

That is so FCS. Our simple LU is tight on red and white - can’t wait to lose the logo on blue helmet and get a plain script LU on a blue matte helmet. Shiny is out.
