Man Iโm torn on this... initial thoughts are LU 35 - 20. However our offense only put up 13 points on Saturday. So part of me wants to say something more like 20-12

. So Iโm gonna just go with
Flames

34
Orange

20
Yards

383

I think we have a better chance to win than the numbers bear out, but this feels like Rutgers last year. Iโm going in expecting a loss but would not be surprised if we can pull it off.

I feel like we win that Rutgers game had we had MW. I swear the man is good for 2-3 wins just because of his presence. Thatโs probably why Iโm drinking the koolaod against a depleted orange squad

The Orange really are depleted with injuries, this seems like a lost year for them, and the perfect opportunity for us.

If it wasn't for a fumble and missed FG, we would have had a 10-0 lead on them last year, and game may have been different

If we had scored more points than SU, we would have won the game too. But we didn't.

I think so. But maybe only if we were ahead of them in the polls or ESPN said we should have lost or if we were favored in Vegas. It is a tough decision.

We were manhandled by Rutgers offensive line last year. If that's the case against the Orange then it will be a task to shut down the run game. If we commit to that with our safeties, look out for us getting burned on play action. I'm having a tough time being objective with my prediction. This will be our best chance to beat an ACC team.

Be a homer. Be a homer. Be homer.

We will keep it interesting but missing extra points or field goals.
No red zone finishes.

I see the 3-3-5 defense confusing Willis and the Liberty offense. I want to pick Liberty so badly but I still think we are a year or two away. I am concerned their rush will force 1 or 2 Liberty turnovers. Maybe I am burned by being at the Rutgers game last year with the circumstances eerily similar. On a 4 or 5 game winning streak. Other team season in turmoil to where they are at a low. And playing at home. Syracuse 24, Liberty 14.

Their 3-3-5 didn't prove to be particularly confusing to an 0-4 Duke team that was averaging 17 ppg before they scored 38 against the Orange last week, but It's an ACC team on the road, so IMHO a win would still be an upset.

Syracuse defense was actually very good against Pitt and North Carolina. In both games, they gave the offense tons of chances but eventually tired out.
