Many universities are returning players in June.
is Liberty planning on resuming football operations?

It's out of Liberty's hands. It's up to the ASUN. When they let their member institutions allow student-athletes back on campus that's when Liberty can have student-athletes back on campus, including football. It's ultimately why spring football practice was canceled.

I don't see how ASUN can have anything to do with football. It's not ASUN sport.

I am just curious. What would happen if Liberty just said screw it and allowed football players back on campus since football is not in the ASUN. The ASUN couldnt fine Liberty football could they?

This is another example of too many people in charge:
President
Governors
Conferences
Mayors
College Presidents
and when "non sports" people get involved, normally it ain't good.
