It was a weird year for the CFB Empire map. Usually the National Champ has the clear majority of land at the end of the year. It’s pretty fragmented this year. Conferences doing silo scheduling helped cause that - your conference doesn’t lose land if you just play each other. Also, there weren’t as many P5-G5 matchups, so the G5 kept a lot of its land this year.

The CFB map is pretty meaningless, but it manages to suck me in every year.

Someone thinks that if two teams have a similar ranking and one beat the other head to head, that school should be ranked higher?

For clarity I'm giving the ranking credibility for factoring in head to head matchups. And also noting that Kansas is not the same as Syracuse, VT, and NCST.

Wouldn't facing Vt, Nvst and Syracuse seeming make LU over CCU? :dontgetit
