I, for one, appreciate the fact that LU is becoming "Second-Chance U". I think its wholly appropriate that we not only forgive but also embrace those who have failed in their past and have repented. If that's not an expression of the gospel, I don't know what is.

Absolutely agree. Very good article/ interview put out by LU on her. You can get some incredibly talented people when you give them a second chance

Expected reactions by a lot of media outlets that start with "Disgraced Reporter" . . . . . . "Liberty University" . . . . you all know the drill. As Jesus said in John "If the world hates you, you know it hated Me before it hated you". We should expect harsh animosity when we identify with Him . . . comes with the territory. Welcome Emily! Go Flames!

Im all in for second chances. I needed 3 or 4.

I'm not sure who I rode up in the elevator with, but they looked a little out of place. It wasn't Emily.

She has apologized for it and let's be honest, barstool is a cesspool and it seemed she was really forcing it to be cool. Very immature of her and I hope she has grown from it and is much more mature.

I'm not sure if they should go out on a limb and hire her but at the same time it is far from anything worth getting overly emotional over.

Fox has been giving the founder of barstool a lot free face time on the network lately. They seem to be the opposite ESPN's politically correct agenda.

So this Austen girl gets fired for telling lousy racial jokes trying to fit in on some stupid show, and then is blackballed. Yet, it took ESPN forever to fire Jamelle Hill and she quickly gets rehired. Yeah, I don't give 2 craps about what the hypocrites on the socialist American left thinks. She, Freeze, and McCaw are good hires. Although, I go back on forth on McCaw. As of right now, he gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

ESPN sideline girl is actually Melanie Newman. She's a friend and pretty awesome. https://www.mlb.com/cut4/melanie-newman ... ng-history

They are all good to excellent hires, but I can assure you McCaw is #1 of the 3. Great guy and has done an excellent job. The people that work for him respect and like him as well. That alone, is a great upgrade.

McCaw's obviously done an awesome job, and I don't doubt that the staff really like him. I'd like to think that I'd like him if I knew him as well. I'm referring to his hire after the Baylor mess. I'm not trying to rehash all of that, but it still appears at least somewhat sketchy. But as I said above, as of right now, he gets the benefit of the doubt from me.
