Former FSU QB Deondre Francois is the current Hampton QB for those that haven't kept up.

Time to put up 50 plus pts and run off some wins. That buffalo win was crucial.

Agreed. We should win the next four and go into Rutgers at 5-2.

It will be great to have that record going into that game. May give us the confidence to pull off a Power 5 win for the year!

Before last night, the last time LU played Buffalo in Lynchburg was 1998 and LU won by a fg. The last time LU played Hampton in Lynchburg was 1997 and LU lost by a TD. One game at a time!! VA Tech almost lost to Furman. I hope the team stays focused for Hampton!! :)

Ehh tech is a dumpster fire. But we should focus on embarrassing Hampton.

Back when the Hampton coach was at Gretna. I did the advanced scouting for him. I have known him for about 25 years. He went from Gretna to Hargrave Military Academy. Then to Texas Tech, Cincinnati, and East Carolina, before getting head coach job at Hampton.

Hampton lost to Division II Virginia Union, who lost to Lenoir Rhyne.

Never count out an opponent until the final second ticks off the clock... But with that said, I see us racking up points and have either JB or the other backup get considerable playing time in this one. Might be a good time after half time (Hopefully) to get some of the underclassman some valuable PT! I know JB has already used two of his games if we want to do the 4 game redshirt, but I do honestly think if we get up big you have got to play him in this one and maybe the Maine game if it comes to that. If not save his final game for one of the bigger games to bring a new wrinkle in at a key time in game. Just those things that I'm sure HCHF and company are exploring.

IF D2 Virginia Union put up 36 points on Hampton then you better believe we will put up atleast 42 if not more. I would love to see 70 points put on the score board. I think we will see JB get some quality time too.

According to my sources, Hampton is loaded with FBS transfers. 3 from NC State, 1 each from Virginia Tech, FSU, and Purdue, plus several from non P5 FBS schools.

Of any week where you some important guys could miss this is the week for that. Plus, the more time our freshman get the better they are going to get. I expect Kei'trel Clark to play as much as he did last week if not more and probably start too.

I expect us to be 6-3 after nine games. Anything less will be a disappointment.

Ball coach will be disappointed if Liberty isn't 7-2 after 9 games. Only remaining game he is worried about is BYU.

I'm not great with math, but wouldn't that make us bowl eligible? :dontgetit

No, because you can't include 2 FCS wins for bowl eligibility.

So is 7 the magic number to take us bowling?

We can count (1) of the (2) FCS games can't we. I thought I remember that conversation some time ago?
