Can you imagine keeping freeze on board and rolling into Oxford and getting the W?

Ryan McGee is such a good writer. I'm a big fan of pretty much everything he does and that article didn't disappoint.

Wow. This is a well-written article. Two good press pieces for LU in two days, I must be dreaming.

Neither article glossed over facts, but they weren’t dripping with cynicism. In fact they were almost respectful and certainly not hit pieces.

He'll never admit it but I'm sure he's got that game circled on the cal.

I know for a fact McGee has a giant distaste in his mouth from the Baylor situation, but he was extremely fair in his coverage of Ian there.

Solid, objective article and well written. I liked the story about HF staying in the mansion his first few days in town and seeing Doc's office with the football helmet next to his desk. One detail he got wrong is that Doc and Macel never lived in the mansion, he just had his office there.

Also about 10 years too soon on Doc's passing too...

I've read this one and the columns from the LA Times and the WaPost. This article was by far, the best and most fair of the three. At this point, I'm fairly certain that HCHF will be leading us into Oxford.

I can’t believe that this week I have read 3 articles that were actually very fair to Liberty. Just like all of us, Liberty has issues, but there is so much good being done to spread the gospel.

I could do without the WAPO article but agree on the other 2 about being very fair. There is a reason The Athletic is doing so well - Twitter mentality has robbed most outlets of these types of writers/articles on a daily basis and I think the people are starved for it without realizing it. These types of pieces used to be daily, now they are few and far between - we had 3 of them in 2 days - that is amazing. BJ - have you been sending in your resume to The Athletic ? Get on it...
