My favorite would be the Camellia Bowl in Montgomery, AL.

Next season. This season our only bowl tie in remains the Cure Bowl.

Obviously hope for on-field success leading to even better bowls, but pumped to see Camellia on this list. Have played in this stadium, watched countless games in it, and live 15 minutes from it!

So would we have to wait until after the conferences fill the bowls to see what is left over or could we take a spot even if the conference’s have enough bowl eligible teams?

Not necessarily. The new bowl schedule gives ESPN a lot of flexibility. A lot of the selections would be based on matchup/geographical fit.

This article is what confused me:

“In the event either conference affiliated with the previously mentioned bowl games does not have enough deserving teams, defined as meeting the six qualifying win threshold, the secondary bowl agreement allows ESPN Events and its bowl game partners to place a bowl eligible Liberty team.“

It will now be up to the football team on the field. If we have a winning season, we will probably go to a bowl. Then it will be up to us to buy tickets and attend the game. This should help recruiting as well.
