He's trying to get a waiver so he can play this season. What does this do for Buckshot's career - or is HCHF trying to set a fire under his starter?

I doubt they will give him a waiver. This is BC's last year. Now, the freshman QB might put a fire under BC.

He's already updated his twitter account!!! I'm really excited to see the performance of the QB's and the team as a whole.
