This will be HCHF's fourth season at LU. All of the players will be his recruits. 4 P-5 games. Two at home, two on the road. Good overall schedule. We could realistically go 10-2 if HCHF is still here. It will be the best home schedule we will have had up to that point.

What are chances VT buys-out of game?

I dunno, VT scheduling PR is in the toilet right now.

Still shocked LU and VT aren’t buying out/pushing their FCS games this season and doing a home and home for free since they both have 2 FCS games scheduled and need another FBS game. Would not be surprised if this still happens. Both FCS teams could play each other that week and still collect their pay day game check this year and IF they insist could come in later years. Everybody wins.

Liberty would lose a home game though.

Also, Tech cancelled their ECU contract to schedule the second FCS game.

They cancelled ECU out of spite due to last years mishandling/cancelling of the VT home game - Yes LU would lose an FCS home game that will fill maybe half the stadium and mean nothing towards a bowl win - in return would add another future home game with VT that would be a sell out.

As for LU home season ticket sales - LU could simply require amount of season ticket holders LU has to be allowed visitor tickets to VT in place of LU home game that would be lost...
