My biggest question mark on him is why has he never been more than a position coach other than one year over the course of a 20 year career?

It is interesting that we don't have more alumni in notable coaching positions. Vic Shealy is having a rough go of it at HBU finishing 1-10 in the FCS Southland this year. He's our highest profile college head coach.
