I know a guy who threatened to throw me out of class at least once. And threatened to fail me before getting on a plane from Las Vegas...

The way I heard the story, he threatened to lock the door to make sure no one late could come into class. And he had a spy on the Vegas trip to make sure nothing got too out of hand. And only one person ever failed that class

I wasn't a big fan of Freeze until I read Damien's article that said Gill thought Wimberly was the best man to be the next HC at Liberty.

There sure are a lot of "perfect" people on this board. The guy committed sexual sins and has repented for it and still works to repair his marriage and personal life. The escort thing is not on my radar at all. LU would be a safe place for Freeze. I watched the convocation and I truly think he is sincere. I'm still torn on the recruiting violations though.. But this is the type of hire LU would make. Its sure to grab headlines, and it has the potential of a fairytale ending and a story of Redemption. Streeter would be my first choice , but in the end, I think I would be ok with Freeze. I want to dig deeper on the NCAA violations.

I am coming around to it. It isn't going to make anyones minds up about LU. I am getting the vibe that those that truly hate the idea of hiring Freeze are sanctimonious and legalistic.

I think healthy skepticism is fine, but there seems to be a gratuitous lack of grace being extended.

All that to say, I truly hope that Ian and Liberty, if they decide to hire Freeze, go clear out of the way to keep the football program above board and beyond reproach. Show that we can be gracious without being foolish and I'll support the decision.
