7-5 but we miss a bowl because of too many eligible teams.

We have a banging RB coming in next year!
Planning on the relatively same D

5-7. Given my amazing ability to predict poorly (why I do not Gamble) We will probably go 6-6. Another non losing season.

W- UMN, NMSU (2x), Maine, Hampton, UMASS, Rutgers
L- UVA, BYU, Buffalo, ULL

8-4.

Both the New Mexico and Rutgers programs are in the dumpster. Syracuse is losing Dungey and will be breaking in a new QB. Game could potentially be picked up by ESPN and historically Gill coaches a good game on opening day.

I don’t understand why everyone is so impressed by Buffalo. They beat a bunch of bad teams, except for the Temple win that was solid, and got beat down by the good ones. Army beat them 42-13 and Ohio beat them 52-17. I don’t think we will destroy them but I do think they are completely overrated.

Would/did LU beat a bunch of bad teams?

Other then Troy, Liberty beat only bad teams as well and the teams we beat were worse. Buffalo is clearly better than LU.

I understand we beat a bunch of bad teams. But our schedule also had 2 guaranteed losses on it while theirs did not. Most people seem to think they will win easily and I just don’t see it.

The reason everyone is impressed by a Buffalo win is because they will face a Turner Gill coached team.

I thought this rule applied during the transition year, not the year we're fully eligible.

Last year we were not capable of actually being eligible. We could only have been included if there were an Insufficient number of eligible teams. This year(2019) we qualify the same ways everyone else does.

My emphasis is that because we have two FCS scheduled only one can be included towards bowl eligibility. Being 6-6 with 2 FCS wins would put us back in the Insufficient Number of eligible teams exemption. This is different from 6-6 with 1 FCS win where we would be traditionally eligible.
