Lionel McConnell has announced he is transferring. Well, sorta.

Actually what he tweeted is that he is ¨decommitting¨ and ¨reopening his recruiting process¨. Apparently he missed the memo that he is not in HS anymore.



Semantics aside, it´s probably a smart move for him. He would almost certainly be at or near the bottom of what should be a very deep depth chart at all the WR positions next year. My best guess is he will end up at one of the Texas FCS programs.

I’m honestly surprised we haven’t had more or this from guys in our final FCS classes.

He seemed like a nice kid but man he had no shot at pt the next 2 years. Yearick and zepata were 2 more obvious ones and good kids as well . I would say db donaldson is likely just because he never saw the field this year and will be behind matthews wilson and faulks before you even enter redshirt frosh kids and recruits.

The rest arent as obvious.
