Wake has a good team but it has been a rough year for both of the ACC teams from Florida

no buts about it....wake is a good football team, regardless of how down the florida schools are.

Take Tech and the points next week. You heard it here, first. There will not be a run on TP in the Triad next week, either.

Hey, we played with the Deacs better than the 'Noles. Aren't you glad we didn't hire Bobby's boy?

So who would've guessed that the Maryland/Wake game in two weeks could decide who goes to the ACC title game. I know I didn't, and I'm a Terps fan...

You live in Charleston and grew up in south Florida, how in the world are you a Maryland fan?

I was a military kid, so I lived in several places...
Grew up in south florida for most of my childhood and most of my family is from there, so I became a fan of all of the South Florida pro teams due to that, along w/ becoming a fan of the Florida Gators (i had some relatives go there)...
Lived in Maryland from 8th grade until I graduated HS and almost went to U of Maryland...my parents live up there still, so I've kept an attachment to that area, though the Terps are the only team I like from up there...hate the Redskins, Orioles, etc.

You pull for more teams than Wilt Chamberlain had girlfriends.

Nah..I have one team per each pro sport (Marlins, Dolphins, Heat, and Panthers...when I bother to watch the NHL)..
For college, the Terps and Gators are to me what UNC is for you...and then I have Winthrop, which trumps them all (I'll hate the Terps for the 2+ hours that Winthrop is playing them on Nov. 20). So maybe I like 1 too many college teams, but at least they are in different conferences.

Going back to football for a moment - isn't it a phantasmagorical thought that LU could have beaten FSU this year?
Wake 34 LU 14
Wake 30 FSU 0
Remember I said it was a phantasmagorical thought - no I'm not smokn' anything.

You're a Methodist at an ACC school, you're good, just don't inhale.

If we ever beat FSU, I guarantee the amount of interest in football on campus would go up by at least 1,000%

If we ever beat FSU I guarantee I could go out with Sterger after the game.
