Once kids are old enough to walk, they are available to go with daddy to games. We were overly cautious on our first and by our third even that rule has slipped away. Now with my kids all competing in high school & middle school sports, our life is an unending series of sporting events. I live for the basketball games but really hate not having football games with my son since he committed to hoops. But I am SOOOO glad track season just ended last week and all my kids have now left behind swimming. Can I get a witness?

As for discussion of the number of children, our only regret is that we stopped at three. It is a big move from two to three (man-to-man to zone defense jokes inserted) but I have never met anyone who regretted the step. We separated ours out 2.5 years between them and looking back wish we had done them a bit closer together ... and perhaps added a fourth. The latter is one of the many reasons why we are about to finish our yearlong pursuit of a license to foster from the State of Texas.

With that said I'm not sure how people make it to sporting events in the first year or so of having a baby, let alone multiple games.
My 16 month old is ready for her second season of Flames Football! She's high fiving and clapping now so it should be fun. She even claps watching sports on TV if the crowd cheers. I can't wait to see her on game day.

I highly recommend hearing protection. Even so, those don't cut it against the air horn at Hockey.

Only positive vibes accepted at this time. ODU and Army are still on the table. I will surely be ready to go by the time Troy comes to town. My b LUBaseBall but, I gotta plan for a may baby next time.
Home game should be easily doable. You’re all set there.

Yeah we made #3 impossible. Best $55 I’ve ever spent.

I still to this day tie in traveling to games to visiting relatives. That is getting tougher with games in places like Las Cruces and Amherst.

Military paid for mine.

The question my Dr asked me when I went in to get the referral:

"So if your wife and 2 kids were in an accident and all 3 died would you still not want anymore kids?"

Such a depressing way to ask me if I was sure I wanted it done.

The bedside manner these days is shockingly lacking.

My answer was yes, that’d be my sign to adopt.

Has to be a standard question. I was asked the same question. I responded ‘I don’t have kids now, why would I want them later?’

If there were National Healthcare I’m sure I would have been prohibited from procreation anyways!!

I have two born about 2 1/2 years apart. The older one starts kindergarten this fall while the younger one won't be able to start pre-k until he is almost 5. I love those boys to death but they can really push my buttons sometimes, especially now that the younger one is starting to assert himself
