Liberty Beats Coastal Carolina... (in ESPN's Preseason FPI).

ESPN's FPI ranks Liberty at 117 and Coastal at 118. Here is our schedule, sorted by FPI:

7 Auburn
74 Virginia
88 North Texas
92 Massachusetts
96 Troy
97 Army
111 New Mexico State
113 Old Dominion
115 New Mexico
117 Liberty

It is a very manageable schedule for our first year. I fully expect 3-4 wins if not more.

Norfolk State and Idaho State will be check marks, and I expect a lot of parity between the three other teams in the 110s. We play six games against teams ranked worse than 110.

And, no losing conference record this year. I would call four a win as well; however I expect more than that

I have a lot a questions about this poll. The biggest two being why does Walter think Auburn is a top 10 team and does he realize who is coaching this team

Auburn has a bunch of guys returning and nearly made the playoff this year with a ridiculous schedule. Norfolk State is not a guarantee win by any means. We'll be somewhere around 2-4 wins this year...I would be very surprised if we win more than 6. Only in half of Gill's FBS coaching career has he won more than 3 games. As an FCS coach, he only won more than 6 twice.

If we lose to Norfolk St we should quit playing football.

If we lose to norfolk state gill can go ahead and pack up us office right after the game. Lets hope it doesnt come to that.
