It is a win, but we should have destroyed GW.

I remember when we stormed the field after beating Gardner Webb. Now beating them is...meh.

Ugly football. We scored more points then them. That is the only positive.

Not true. The defense kept their offense from scoring more points than LU’s offense! :flamingdevil

It was 19 to 17, at about halfway through the 4th. GW was a 1/6 team, so it is what it is.

Ive said it before and it bears repeating...whether you win pretty or win ugly, just have one more point when the clock hits all zeroes...that's all that matters

If you say so. I may win against my wife today but the reality of my true position will rear it's ugly head.
Despite that, I will take every win.

Except for beating St. Francis (who we lost to), Duquesne's 7 wins don't look that impressive. They certainly don't have Baylor on their schedule, but they did beat West Virginia Wesleyan.

We should beat Duquesne at home but then again we should have beat St Francis at home too! Duquesne routed StF. They have @ 10 FBS transfers (WVU, Penn State, Pitt, Ohio State, Maryland, Nebraska) including their QB who is a transfer from Boise State. We will have to play much better than we have in the last 5 weeks to win this game.
