I have a feeling we'll be getting better officiating the next two games, especially after the apologies Rocco got from the director of officiating.

There's video evidence of at least five horribly wrong calls that have been sent in to the head of officials. One of them was a TD against G-W that was called out of bounds that was obviously in-bounds. The head of officiating sent an apology on all five plays.

That is pretty bad. I am beginning to understand the LU paranoia that goes on.

Actually LU was the beneficiary of two calls today that really helped us a ton. The first was on the fumbe after the long WCU run. The player was CLEARLY down. Both his knees hit, then his face, then the ball popped out. While we did nothing with the possesion, it denied WCU an opportunity deep in our territory. Also, the pass interference call in the End zone that gave us a fresh set of downs. Not sure that LU didn't push off first. OF course, if the WCU player would have turned around he would have picked it off easily.

i was in the end zone when the interference call was made and believe it was a good call. don't know if i was looking through the eyes of an unpredijuiced fan or not, but looked like a good call from where i stood.

The call they missed though was when dickerson killed #9 after him came across the middle. That guy had two feet down just before his sternum nearly got shattered. I don't care about he didn't make a football move or whatever( you don't make a football move when you catch a pass fading out of bounds - dumb rule), he had possesion and one two feet down and that should have been a fumble.
