They used two QBs in the EIU game...not sure if they did yesterday, but the guy to watch is LeMonte Booker. The offense pretty much goes through him

They were incredibly successful on their jet sweeps against Tennessee, not sure why they ever stopped running them. As a Tennessee fan I was incredibly frustrated by that but I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty does a much better job stopping those than UT did.

I did a short.Q&A with Todd Golden the ISU beat writer and he said they need more from the passing game to balance Booker and the run

they're too darn good ...there's no doubt, we've got a heck of a challenge this week.
He seemed confident their offense could improve. Less confident on stopping Buckshot, our WRs, and our RBs.

With I'd say 90% of their offense coming from Booker and their jet sweep plays, theyre going to need the passing game to step up in a big way or theyre gonna get run out of the stadium on Saturday

This will be a very interesting game. They're strong enough to warrant our full attention. We will score points-you bet! Will we stop them-I'm not sure. Baylor hung 45 on us and Moorhead State moved the ball at times. Even though IS is one dimensional, they're used to playing high level opponents and I'm confident they'll come to play. A real barometer for our defense. If that side of the ball can match our offense-LOOK OUT!

I thought our run defense was good vs. Morehead , but on a couple pass plays, the receiver was uncovered down field.

That isn't a bad thing if the defense can get into the backfield before they can make that throw

It's pretty obvious I know JK (how's the family by the way?), but you have to think there is a good bit of truth to it.
