Liberty football coach Turner Gill said Tuesday that redshirt-junior wide receiver B.J. Farrow has not been cleared to play with the team “due to eligibility concerns.”

“He is unable to play,” Gill said.

The Flames coach, in his sixth season with the program, did not elaborate on Farrow’s eligibility, saying he found out in the middle of last week about the issue. Gill added he will release pertinent information when it becomes available.

Sounds like they are protecting him. Funny I thought Gill didn't protect his players...
