With signing day once again in the rear view mirror, fans look to spring football 2017, but the coaches begin working on the big board for 2018 (we already have three offers in)

We have 19 players who will be rising seniors or redshirt seniors in the fall so it's time to look at the biggest needs on the recruiting trail.

I'll have the position by position breakdown once I get my computer

I can't speak to who are the biggest Twilight and Harry Potter fans on the team.....(at least i went with a sitcom you called them Nerds)

Very nice work!

The staff attepted to address those needs with this class. Punters usually arrive as walk-ons or as dual purpose kickers. I think we will find a solution. I suspect the preferred walk-on from LCA who is a nationally-recognized long-snapper was brought in to follow up Hunter. Losing Lewis hurt us in the DL class. But we have some guys already on campus who have the potential to be the answer.

I think Wes' pop said he is done in a post somewhere on here.

Wes is done and Hartman has retired.

This recruiting class is one of the reasons Gill is on the hotseat. To the best of my memory only about 6 of these kids on this list started out on scholarship. I'm sure 2 or 3 have them have gotten schollies as they've opened up. Hartman and Scott are done. We're plenty deep at corner with Turner and Peters starting and Holloway, Matthews & Faulks plus the kids we just signed.

When your coaching future is not secure it is difficult to get kids to committ

It's not loaded with three and four star prospects and instant all-conference and all Americans who can beat every team by 4 TDs and finish undefeated in the Big South probably (tongue very much in cheek with this one)

If only we got some 4 star recruits in any class that would be nice. And thanks for the tongue and cheek comment BJ, ha.

its not. Im talking about the upcoming senior class. Look at the players above. That was a really really weak class

We're talking about the 2013 recruiting class, the one that had 22 signees. Of those 22, only 6 finished/will finish their career at Liberty, and 2 of those completed it in 2016.

Wow read through that list. Total whiff on the o line and d line. Newman and jaron greene were the 2 best by far. Sampson was a player but he was the beginning of the carnage at safety followed by James and Jackson. Man just a total whiff on the line.

Yes, Wes is done, finished up at end of December. Working at getting his foot in door at coaching. Had a blast during my time here will keep up with the team maybe catch a game or too along the way

And don't forget to spread the LU love with the prospects on your squads. Your presence here on the board was always greatly appreciated by yours truly.
