Any chance we'd ever do a white-out?

Our away uniforms are all white. Is there any chance we'd ever do a white-out for a football game? I think it'd look awesome.

No... It's impossible to get all students to wear red, let alone white.

If they announced it and built up to it I think it could work. I also wouldn't be expensive to make white t-shirts with the logo on them and give them out free to the first 1000 and sell the rest for 5 bucks or something. Announce it at the preceding games and everything like that.

It would be awesome if it works. Hopefully the baptist side of the field would participate.

it would be good for bball season since we wear all white at home. if they can do a good job at announcing it in preceding games (like sj said) and convo it could be nice. but they would wait until the day of the event to announce it.... just like midnight madness(which didn't turn out so good).
i can't lie though, the athletic department has done a great job at putting butts into the seats. i hope it carries over into the bball season

this is where the athletic dept messed up. there should have been a white or red out for this weekend's game. they could have got some sponsors and handed out t-shirts to wear on both sides with some catchy slogan about beating western. with the many close losses recently this could have brought more people out. i do think we will have a good crowd with the VT and UVA on the road, so we will see. indded as AG said wins fill seats...it is coming though!

We could all steal the white sheets they used for the LU and make our own white out.

I like the idea about t-shirts for a white out. Just please no more thundersticks - great gesture - but hard on the ears when the younger kids start beating those things together....

I think there will be no effect. Remember, Rocco did a great PR job rallying the troops. New things draw better, at first. Heck, even Karcher had good crowds the first year. Until hoops shows on the court that last year was a fluke, I will be suprised if the crowds pick up, much.

I think the crowds will be better for hoops than last year based on the buzz about the new players, and the fact that it will be marketed under Jeff Barber's watch. Plus the fact that there are more students on campus this year. We have several home games in the first semester. Too bad Brew can't play then to excite folks about the season but he will be in there soon enough I guess. Can't wait to see this team on Saturday playing against some decent competition.

WEll hey, theyll only annoucne what you give em (I learned that in 4 years here) So maybe if you gave a flyer or two to the guys up front maybe, just maybe theyll actually announce it...there's a concept.

Hey well I throw a semester party outside dorm 9 each semester(used to be 4) but you could put in a birthday announcement saying theres a game. Im going to do it for this semester again and add in the mini fact were baking 800 cookies. It works!!
