Jon and I have been discussing this for a while. We hate to hit you guys up for money, but the bills from this summer have stacked up, and the worst part is we all see a fairly costly process forthcoming. Your donation will first and foremost make sure that we can do what is necessary to keep A Sea of Red going long into the future. We hope you guys will consider doing what you are able. Your efforts and readership are appreciated.
Maybe if the link worked....

The announce team really fell in love with using the phrase "a sea of red" tonight on the broadcast. May as well change the name again.

I think it shows how much attention they pay to the site. They probably don't even know they are saying it. But I'm convinced they want this shut down or firmly under their control

If you can only use PayPal DM me and we can work that out.
I'm just too lazy to get my wallet right now. I'll put something in the coffers later. But putting a working link here would help not just on FB

For Text Message and Message Boards, we need a sarcasm font.

Oh i understood what you were talking about. I am just saying in general. I wasn't sure if you knew it was him or his dad.
Moving the thread along. We all need to donate a little something. We spend a ton of time on these boards, and SOR has done a great job carrying on the torch. Help them out. Only 3 donations so far, and it has been up for 3 days. Just a little bit per person would help.

I really do appreciate those of you that have donated so far. It means a lot. Also, thanks Duke for getting this started.
For those that know me well, you know I hate asking for any money. We all have our issues and families we work hard to provide for. This is probably one reason why I have done very little, to no marketing via social media of this campaign. It's just not in my blood to ask for help.
The main goal with this drive is to protect our new name to the best of our ability. The quicker we are able to do this, the better. Every little bit helps, and to be honest, we are almost to the point where I will go ahead and get the ball rolling on this even if I end up having to foot the remaining bill. It's just a good business decision for the long term health and viability of our site.
If you have any questions, complaints, concerns about this or anything, you can always hit me up for details. On here, on twitter, email, phone, whatever. If you want to PM me, do so on the A Sea of Red account as I'm on there more often.
Thanks again guys.

For you people who don't donate even $5 or $10 you suck and I'm going to tell Jesus not to like you anymore!
I have no problem asking for money and I know it's tight for a lot of folks I also know this is a solid form of passing time for a lot of us as well. Forgoing a burrito or some other entertainment venture for a one time donation to keep this entertaining venture alive is really not that taxing. Plus, as an added bonus you get the inner satisfaction of knowing you helped 'stick it to The Man'. That a lone is worth SOMETHING
I got off my fat patootey and gave, and if you've met me you know the physical accomplishment that was. So do the same, take a minute, skip the latte or burrito and give a couple of bucks........or else
