Liberty was in the top 10 in Red Zone scoring and turnover margin (IIRC) in 2014. I'm anxious to see how these 2 categories will impact this year's team and its playoff chances.

I like our playoff chances as long as we do not lose any BSC games. If we beat Jacksonville State and win BSC we should end up with a national seed @ 9'2 with both loses to FBS teams.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything about which BSC team had the auto bid Although I do believe we would have a shot at an at large, the more likely scenario for both CSU and Liberty being in the tourney is with us beating them and getting the automatic bid CSU would be almost a lock for an at large if they finish 8-3

7 DI wins with the only losses being two a pair of FBS schools and a pair of Top 10 FCS schoolswould have us in the mix. The field of candidates is not exactly overwhleming.

Key Word. If that 1 win isn't against CSU, LU wouldn't even make it into a mix of Tang

Every year Liberty fans talk themselves into why we will get an at large when our resume is less than great. It's a November tradition at this point. We have to beat CSU to get into the playoffs. It's as simple as that.
At least our fans are nothing if not predictable.

I've been slammed lately and didn't have enough time to post the quote but this is from the article:
Two at-large teams entered this week’s bracket. New Hampshire, with their win over Stony Brook, did a straight Colonial swap. The other was Liberty, who is on fire right now, pardon the pun. But the Flames have won four straight games!
My issue is that if we lose to Charleston Southern, what quality win do we have? But to Sly's point, this is the weakest field in a really long time.
There's also this site (which has us winning the Big South):

If you look inwardly, or in comparison to recent years, we don't appear to be a playoff team. But if you compare us to the rest of the country, at this point...maybe we will get in.

This I can agree with...don't put it in the hands of the committee except to determine hosting a first round game and who we would play in round 2

I would just like to go a year where we aren't guessing if we will be in. I hate the "it all hangs on this one game" cycle. But, it's who we are.
