If my understanding of the NCAA calendar is correct, with LU opening in Blacksburg one month from yesterday (crazy huh?), their training camp window opens soon...(if I read the Football Twitter account they said Camp opens on the 8th

Well done, Jon. I also watched a bit of Mike Tilley's Facebook Live during the warmups. I am loving all of the additional coverage we have these days in addition ot the fine work of the SIDs and the fishwrap.

The University of Richmond, William & Mary and James Madison shared the CAA Football championship last season. This season, the Spiders are the state team to beat, according to the STATS FCS national preseason poll released Monday .
Richmond is ranked No. 4 nationally.
The Spiders, tabbed as the CAA favorite in the league’s preseason poll, return 15 starters from a team that went 10-4 and advanced to the FCS semifinals.
Too bad Richmond's coach, Danny Rocco, isn't still at LU. He got tired of Jeff Barber's antics so he moved to Richmond and look what he is doing there. Barber is the one who needs to go so we can keep good coaches.

Yeah that didn't happen.
We are almost getting to the point we need to put a Rocco Rule in like we do for other former coaches. Ha

Aren't you forgetting the famous 1999 game in Huntington, which was Chad Pennington's last year before he had a long career with the Jets?
Marshall 66, Liberty 3.

Biggest name. Not biggest beat down. The Mountaineers are gracious hosts.
