We move into the trenches for the next two groups, as we take a look at the boys on both lines, starting of course with the offense
Players Returning
Ernst Andersen R-Freshman (4)
Aharown Campbell R-Senior (1)
Beau Carter R-Freshman (4)
Devin Crisp R-Senior (1)
Dontae Duff R-Freshman (4)
Ben Fiordelise Sophomore (4)
Tanner Hartman R-Junior (2)
Michael Henderman R-Junior (2)
Lucas Holder R-Junior (2)
Sam Isaacson R-Freshman (4)
Gregg Storey R-Sophomore (3)
This is going to be a very interesting group front, led by All-conference honoree Campbell, one of two seniors in the group, and the only one to see time last year. Hartman has established himself on the left side after spending last year on the right. Holder gives the Flames some flexibility with his ability to play both center and guard. After that you have sophomores Fiordelise (who spent a lot of time as a situational lineman last year) and Storey and then Andersen, Duff (who is projected to start at center) and walkon Isaacson.
Here is the projected starting 5 up front according to our friends at LFN:
Left Tackle
Tanner Hartman
Left Guard
Michael Henderman
Center
Dontae Duff
Right Guard
Lucas Holder
Right Tackle
Gregg Storey or Aharown Campbell
The Flames add local product Josh Carlin from nearby Jefferson Forest and Thomas Sargeant as walkons and 5 others in the signing class, which should definitely bolster the cupboard for offensive line coach Dennis Wagner
