The good news is this is a CFAW weekend; the bad news is that most people who attend LU football games couldn't even tell you what state JSU is from (NOT Florida), let alone that they were in the FCS Championship game last year.

For my vote, I'd say NO.

I think that will really test the marketing department. If they can really push this one on tv and the radio and work the national runner up angle AND come up with a real nice promotion for that night, I think there's a chance. If there was a poll, I'd say no but it'll definitely be a huge crowd

A win in Dallas the week before would help!

That's my thought as well Spangler. If we come into this game 2-1 and the Gamecocks come in with a similar record, this is going to be a marketing gold mine for us. Both teams will likely be ranked with JSU in the top 10 (maybe top 5), JSU is the national runner up, College for a Weekend...we could absolutely shatter the attendance record

What's the current record? What opponent?
If it was JMU instead of JSU then maybe.

If both teams come in 2-1, 22K+ certainly is possible. If we do the impossible and come in 3-0 , we need to hope JSU comes in 2-1 with a win over Coastal to really heighten the appeal of that matchup and give fuel for the athletic marketing department to push the matchup and pack the Bill
