Spring Game Yard Sale

I see LU is having the athletic yard sale again at spring game. I wish they would change format and eliminate the long line to get into sales area. And eliminate the single file deal to shop for items. They should allow people to walk around and shop, then go to check out.

There has got to be a better way to do this. They should let the folks who run Kids Craze take over the yard sale.

I cannot figure out why they want to punish fans by making them wait in long lines to buy a used shirt. They need to find an expert in marketing and have him/her set up the yard sale. Heck go out on Highway 29 and find a yard sale, and bring that person to LU to set it up. having a single file line is beyond stupid. Spread the stuff out on tables, and let fans shop as if they were at Walmart, then go thru checkout.

I will say this about it. Based on what I am reading, I can understand if there is concern for the weather and all, but Im sure that you can spread out a bit and set up multiple stations all over the home side and have multiple checkout areas, especially if it looks like there is no threat of rain on that given day.

They could use tents, or even move it in Hancock Center if there is a threat of rain. After 3 or 4 years of doing it, one would think they could figure out how to make it more efficient.

There is no rain threat on the stadium concourse.

The question to ask is: Who is in charge of selling the items? The FB team? Bookstore ? Athletic Dept? That will go a long way to answering the question

Not sure it is still the same, but when they started doing this it was organized by the football equipment mánager.
