Probably mentioned before but the piece also says that Woodrum gets invited to NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

They used to hold the East-West Shrine Game here and the tickets were dirt cheap and plentiful.

Lunsford is the sole kicker for the East squad in the East-West Shrine game today so hopefully he gets plenty of opportunities in front of the scouts. His game kicks off around 4 on NFL Network while Josh's game kicks off at 6 and will be on I think ESPN2

I find it out we haven't seen any invites to my knowledge for Petey and Chima. Chima probably does need to buff up a little more to go against NFL OL but Petey has the speed and the size to create separation..... Plus he made Woodrum look a lot better some times.

Lunsford is 1/1 on field goals and 0/1 on PAT (wonder if they are kicking from the NFL PAT spot)

Josh is going to get the 2nd half start in the NFLPA game.

It's only on one side. I'm rooting for him. He's a good kid no matter what happened this year. He led us to some of the biggest wins in the program history. Wish it would have been what it could have been.

Yes, due to the fact that he is getting the opportunity to represent LU, it puts the school on the map, with looks, so that bodes well for EVERYONE and ANYONE else that gets the chance.
He looks under control, and like they said running a WC offense he may do pretty well

I watched a little of the game, and Josh had the eagle logo on one side of his helmet.

That's pretty typical. A lot of times players exchange logos so you'll end up with 4 or 5 logos on your helmet come game day. Not always the case but that's what I've noticed

Yes, understand that part about exchanging of the logos, but the thing was the first shot of JW only showed the left side which had nothing, but his right side did have it along with the others he collected. No matter what its a great experience for the kids involved and should be no skin off LU's back to give him that helmet.

it only has taken me almost my kids whole 4 years to catch on but better late than never, lol
